This is a zBrush school project where we had to draw our own character and model it, exclusively using zBrush as a part of the class. Coincidentally, I had a doodle lying around of a little character that I made a few days before that I was fairly sure wouldn’t be a challenge to model in a relatively unknown program at the time.

Throughout the project I learned how zBrush generally works, how zSpheres can make character modelling much easer, which brushes were well suited for my specific character, and how to use re-topology in Zbrush.

My process for this project was as follows:
Drawing in photoshop & sketchbook pro, then modelling in zBrush and retopology in 3D Coat, since I personally prefer 3D coat, and then hand painting the textures in Photoshop.
